Tacoma Door Knobs

When you have the opportunity to meander through some of the beautiful historic homes in the North End of Tacoma whether it be during an Open House or while visiting friends, you may notice the amazing doorknobs throughout the home.

Angled glass, crystal and ornate metal that cloak the many pull facades.  Whether they extend their reach while donning a front or back door, a closet space or drawer, I can't help but think of the history in the hands dating back to the 1800's in many cases, that have twisted, turned and tugged those very knobs.

   Each door knob that you grasp is forever a history handshake for others to discover.
